Getting Started with Invoice

senangPay has introduced an invoice submitting feature that submits eligible invoices directly to LHDN. This applies only to charges paid by merchants to senangPay and is not a full e-Invoicing solution for merchant-to-customer transactions.

A. What is this update about?

Starting July 2025, senangPay’s e-Invoicing system will now comply with Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri (LHDN) requirements by issuing and submitting certain invoices directly to LHDN.

Specifically, this applies to charges from senangPay to you, such as:

  • Registration fees
  • Subscription or renewal fees
  • Transaction processing fees
  • Other platform-related charges billed by senangPay

These invoices are now automatically generated, submitted to LHDN and available for download from your senangPay Dashboard.

📌 Reminder: If your tax details are incomplete, you won’t receive any e-Invoices. Please ensure your tax information is updated to enable e-Invoicing. Please follow the steps in this guide page to complete your tax information update: Link

⚠️ Please note: This feature does not allow you to generate e-Invoices for your customers. That function is part of a separate, older system that is not LHDN-compliant and will be renamed to avoid confusion.

C. Key Features & Enhancements

LHDN-Compliant Submission
senangPay now submits invoices directly to LHDN before they are made available to you.

Dashboard Access
Invoices issued by senangPay will appear in the e-Invoice section of your Dashboard and can be downloaded in PDF format.

QR Code Verification
Each e-Invoice contains a QR code. You can scan it to view the invoice in the official LHDN portal.

E. What invoices are included?

Only invoices issued by senangPay to merchants (e.g., platform-related charges) are included. You’ll find these in the e-Invoice section of your Dashboard once submitted to LHDN.

The following types of invoices are included and submitted to LHDN:

  • Registration invoices (when you first sign up with senangPay)

  • Subscription or renewal invoices (e.g., monthly/annual plans)

  • Transaction fee invoices (fees incurred when customers make payments)

  • Refund processing invoices (including applicable refund fees)

  • Other charges that may incur (charges and fees except registration and renewal will be consolidated in the next month)

These invoices are issued by senangPay to merchants, and are not related to your own customer transactions.

F. How to Access Your e-Invoices

  1. Log in to the senangPay Dashboard.

  2. Go to the e-Invoice section.
  3. The system will display only invoices submitted to LHDN for your records. Please download for your use at your earliest convenience to ensure you have a copy in the future.


  4. When you click the download button, you’ll receive a PDF e-Invoice that looks like this:

  5. Once you've downloaded the PDF, you can scan the QR code in the PDF to verify it via the LHDN portal.


I. FAQs

Q: Who is onboarded for this update?
All merchants who have completed their tax details are now onboarded for Merchant e-Invoicing.

Q: Can I use this to issue e-Invoices to my customers?
No. This feature is only for invoices issued by senangPay to you. Merchant-to-customer invoicing is not supported under this LHDN-compliant process.

Q: Why don’t I see some charges in the e-Invoice section?
Only charges that fall under LHDN’s requirements and are issued by senangPay are included. Other transactions will remain available under your regular invoice or transaction history sections.
