Customers Experience on the Digital Catalog

Explore how customers browse and interact with your Digital Catalog.

Open Catalog

  1. When customers visit your Digital Catalog, they can view:

    1. Merchant Information

    2. Showcases – groups of similar items (e.g. related products or special collections)

    3. Item Listings

    4. Featured Items

    5. Shopping Cart Access

  2. Customers can also search by item name and sort items for easier browsing.


Showcases

Selecting a showcase will display only the items grouped under it.
Customers can continue to search by item name and sort items within the selected showcase.

Item Detail

  1. Variants

    Customers can select their preferred variant (e.g. size, colour) before purchasing. The product image will automatically update based on the selected variant. If variants are available, a selection is required before checkout.

  2. Add to Cart

    Adds the selected item and quantity to the cart, allowing customers to purchase multiple items in a single order.

  3. Buy Now

    Takes customers directly to the checkout page with the selected item, for a quick single-item purchase.


Shopping Cart

  1. Displays all items added to the cart, where customers can:

    1. Adjust the quantity of each item

    2. Remove items from the cart

  2. SST is shown for each item. A single cart can include items with different SST rates, and the system will calculate the total accordingly.

  3. Note:

    1. If an item in the cart is out of stock, customers will be prompted to remove it before proceeding to checkout.

Order Page

This page provides a complete overview of checkout, order, customer, and delivery details.

  1. Delivery Options
    Delivery Type - Required. Choose one of the following:
    1. Delivery Address
    2. Self Pickup

    Delivery Address (only shown if “Delivery Address” is selected)
    1. Country
    2. Postal Code
    3. Address

    Notes:
    1. Delivery charges are calculated based on this information, if delivery rules are configured.
    2. Optional. Add any additional instructions for the merchant.
  2. Payment Method
    Select your preferred payment method. You will be redirected to the DOKU checkout page to complete the payment.
  3. Order Summary
    - Subtotal
    - Delivery Charge
    - Total SST (calculated from items + delivery)
    - Total Payment

    Note: Delivery charges will follow the highest applicable SST rate in the cart.
